Blake Shelton Signs With BMG/BBR Music Group
Weeks after amicably departing longtime label home Warner Music Nashville (CAT 9/3), Blake Shelton has inked a new recording deal with BMG/BBR Music Group. Shelton had been with WMN and subsidiary Giant Records for 23 years. BMG Pres./Frontline Recordings, Americas Jon Loba says, “Blake is one of the biggest personalities and presences in media ... We are so excited he’s joining the BMG Global family and cannot wait to share his incredible new music with the world. He’s been laser-focused on delivering some of the best of his career and it shows. We have been dancing through the office, literally not just figuratively, since we heard the first couple songs he played for us!”
At BMG, he joins a country roster that includes Jason Aldean, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Dustin Lynch and Parmalee. Shelton will launch a six-show Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace Feb. 5-15, 2025 (CAT 8/8) and embark on his Friends & Heroes Tour 2025 Feb. 27 in Lexington, KY (CAT 9/5).
