Life Notes: Funeral services for Josh Ford, the husband of BBR Music Group Mgr./Radio Syndication Ellen Mundy Ford, will be held 2pm CT Friday (9/29) at Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson, TN. The family will receive visitors beginning at noon. A graveside service will follow at Taylor Town Cemetery. Josh Ford died Sept. 21 at the age of 36 after a six-month battle with acute myeloid leukemia. He and Ellen wed two years ago. KCYE/Las Vegas PD/morning host Shawn Stevens was involved in an automobile accident early Friday morning (9/22) on his way into work. His vehicle was struck by a reportedly stolen car, which ran a red light. While he tells Country Aircheck he was "a bit shaken," Stevens still managed to make it into work less than three hours later to take over his morning show from midday host Paul Knight, who filled in until Stevens' arrival. He says, "The show must go on. I’m blessed to have a great team (and at least one guardian angel) around me." Send well wishes here.
