Broadway In The 'Burgh: Former iHeartMedia WWYZ/Hartford morning host Bill "Broadway" Bertschinger is joining CBS Radio WDSY/Pittsburgh for wakeups. Broadway's Backyard launches Monday (10/9) at 5am. "I am excited to join a heritage station with a reputation like Y108's," says Bertschinger. "I can't wait to debut my new show, make new friends, and have fun." Veterans Stoney Richards and Charlie Mitchell have been filling in since the departure of Ally Butler and Andy Davis three months ago (CAT 6/19). Bertschinger made the announcement on the station this morning (10/5) at 7:30am and will be at the station's Girls With Guitars event tonight. He exited 'WYZ in June (CAT 6/22) after five years with previous stops at WKIS/Miami, WBCT/Grand Rapids and sister Top 40 WSNX. Reach him here.
