Risser Rises: UMG/Nashville SVP/Promotion Royce Risser has been promoted to EVP/Promotion and will continue to oversee the Capitol, EMI Nashville, Mercury and MCA promotion teams. "Royce rides herd on four major label imprints, while landing all the planes, ensuring that each of the singles and the artists receive the best effort possible, and remaining focused on the big picture job that always goes farther than No. 1 on the charts," says UMGN Chairman/CEO Mike Dungan.
