Benefit News: Eric Church's nonprofit, Chief Cares, is expanding homeownership in its Avery County, NC housing community, Blue Haven. Not only are those whose homes were impacted by 2024's Hurricane Helene eligible (CAT 4/14/24), but now also educators, healthcare workers, first responders and others who serve the area. The first families are slated to move into Blue Haven by Thanksgiving, and Chief Cares is on pace to deliver roughly 200 homes across the region. Watch the story behind Blue Haven here.
