Jay Dream Believer: Cumulus/Shreveport OM Jay Michaels has added PD responsibilities for Country KRMD. He succeeds Chip Arledge, who exited in April (CAT 4/25). "Jay has demonstrated a high level of focus, passion and engagement for the Cumulus/Shreveport brands," says VP/MM Aaron Criswell. Adds Michaels, "I'm excited to work closely and hands-on with our talented air staff and reclaim our position as the dominant Country leader in our marketplace." Michaels will also retain PD/afternoon duties for Hot AC sister KQHN. He was elevated to OM in July (CAT 7/29).
