Chronicle: Veteran personality/programmer Henry Williams (aka Steve Gary) passed away Sept. 26. He was 76. Williams was born in Fort Worth and graduated high school in Austin, where he spent his entire five-decade career. He started on air at the original incarnation of KOKE, then moved to KASE/KVET in 1982, where he also served as MD for 15 years and won the CMA's inaugural Medium Market MD of the Year trophy in 1987.
