Chronicle: Studio engineeer/musician Ron "Snake" Reynolds has passed away at the age of 76. Reynolds was a Nashville native who signed a development deal with Nugget Records in 1965 but soon segued to working in the label's studios. In 1972, he joined Columbia Records as a staff engineer and remained there until their closing in 1982 when he became a freelance studio engineer. He engineered recordings by George Jones, Merle Haggard, Tanya Tucker, Earl Thomas Conley, Toby Keith and was most notably the engineer on Shania Twain's 12-million-selling The Woman In Me. Reynolds has nine Grammy winning records to his credit, was named Engineer Of The Year by the ACM in 2004 and was inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame in 2016. Stephens Country KLAA & Classic Country KBKK/Alexandria, LA personality Dwight "Hollywood Harrison" Moore passed away today (10/5) at the age of 58. He joined Stephens in 2019 (CAT 11/21/19) after two stints at crosstown KRRV where he had been PD and morning host. In between, he also spent time at KMDL/Lafayette, LA. Services are pending.
