Same Hat, New Saddle: Saying he's looking "forward to announcing my next adventure in early 2024," Warner Music Nashville EVP/Artist Development Shane Tarleton has left after 13 years with the company, as reported earlier today (10/5) via Breaking News. He joined the label in 2010, and after shifting from SVP/Creative Services to SVP/Artist Development in 2017 (CAT 9/14/17), was promoted to his most recent role in 2021 (CAT 8/31/21). Tarleton says, "I would like to thank the incredible team for all of their passion, creativity and dedication over the years. To the artists who inspire all of us with their amazing talent and art, a special ‘thank you’ to you and your teams for instilling trust in me." No word on plans for the position.
