Lindy Hops To Top 40
After 13 years in Country programming, Scott Lindy has been named PD of Lincoln Financial Media's Top 40 WSTR (Star 94)/Atlanta. LFM VP/Programming John Dimick has programmed the station since J.R. Ammons' exit last August. This is a return to pop programming for Lindy, who was at Nostalgia-AC WTVR-AM & FM/Richmond when he was named WPOC/Baltimore PD in 1997. He left there in early 2004 to become Dir./Country Programming for Sirius Satellite Radio. In Jan. 2009, Lindy joined Clear Channel/Atlanta as OM of the six-station cluster while also serving as PD of Country WUBL.
