Chronicle: Radio veteran Davy Crockett died Oct. 2. His career included afternoons at WGTY/York, PA until his retirement in 2024. That station posted a tribute on its Facebook page, noting, "Davy spent 44 years in radio, including his final eight years (as Davy Croakett) at Froggy 107.7. His voice was synonymous with local radio [through] the years, with most of that being on Rock and Pop stations. We are all saddened by this news and pass our deepest condolences to his wife Kathy, and his entire family."
