Air Apparents: Applications are being accepted for the Lisa McKay Women in Radio Scholarship. Created in honor of the late radio programmer, the scholarship gives three recipients registration for CRS 2027 (March 17-19 in Nashville), as well as hotel accommodations and airfare. Eligible applicants must be either a female college senior studying broadcast communications who is involved in radio programming or a female professional with one-to-three years of experience as a PD, APD or MD, as well as a first-time CRS attendee. The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation has issued a call for entries for its 52nd annual Gracie Awards, which recognize outstanding programming and individual achievement created by, for and about women across television, streaming, radio, podcasting and digital media. Enter here by Jan. 21. National winners will be recognized at the Gracies Gala May 25 in Beverly Hills; local and student winners will be honored at the Gracies Luncheon June 15 in New York.
