Curtain McCall: Country Music Hall of Fame Museum Assoc. Dir./Editorial Michael McCall will retire at the end of the year after more than 20 years. "From the beginning of his tenure, Michael’s impressive journalistic sensibilities helped to establish the museum’s editorial voice,” says CEO Kyle Young. Adds McCall, "Working [here] has been the greatest honor of a career that overshot any of my dreams." Since joining the museum in 2006, McCall has curated or co-curated more than 20 museum exhibitions, hosted many museum programs, co-edited the second edition of the Encyclopedia of Country Music and authored a book on the museum's archival collection. His last day is Dec. 31.
