Easton To WKKT: Programming vet Shelly Easton has been named PD for iHeartMedia WKKT/Charlotte, effective Monday (10/18). She fills the vacancy created by the departure of Chuck “DZL” Thompson in August (CAT 8/20). Easton left her role as Entercom/Philadelphia VP/Music Programming earlier this year (CAT 1/4). She previously programmed Country WXTU prior to Entercom divesting it to Beasley in 2018. Easton’s stops also include WCTO/Allentown, PA and WRBT/Harrisburg, PA.
