Bits & Pieces: The Band Perry, NMPA, Opry Goes Pink

Bits & Pieces: After recenty signing with Nashville Harbor and Make Wake Artists (CAT 7/17), The Band Perry's Reid Perry is leaving the band, which currently includes his sister, Kimberly Perry and her husband Johnny Costello. Reid says in an Instagram post, "I’ll be around, managing a new voice I believe in more than anything, Ryan Coleman ... I wish Kimberly and TBP the best as they move forward into the future."

Carrie Underwood, The Isaacs, Mandy Barnett, Riders In The Sky and Sophia Scott will perform – and Amy Grant will flip the switch to turn the set pink – during the Grand Ole Opry's 17th annual Opry Goes Pink show on Oct. 25. Brothers Osborne, Maddie & Tae, Ernest and Thelma & James will perform at the National Music Publishers' Association's invitation only Gold & Platinum Gala Oct. 23 at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville.
