Shelton Leaves WYYD: Clear Channel's WYYD/Roanoke, VA PD/afternoon personality Kenny Shelton has joined 3 Daughters Media/Lynchburg as an account executive for the cluster's Talk WIQO and Sports WVGM-AM. Shelton spent 20 years at 'YYD, first from 1985-98 and again from 2006-13. He'd handled mornings alongside his wife Judy until being replaced in the daypart by Premiere's The Bobby Bones Show last month (CAT 9/16). Former afternoon personality Larry Dowdy is back in afternoons for now; no word on plans for Shelton's permanent replacement. Reach Shelton here.
