Bits & Pieces: BMLG Records Pres./CEO Jimmy Harnen was inducted into the inaugural class of the Luzerne County (PA) Arts & Entertainment Hall of Fame Oct. 14. Recognized for both his accomplishments as a record executive and his time as lead vocalist for Synch – which scored a Top 10 Pop hit in 1989 with "Where Are You Now?" – Harnen joined other inductees including rock band Breaking Benjamin and Oscar-winning actor the late Jack Palance. Saga WPOR/Portland, ME PD/morning host Jon Shannon was honored with the Suzanne Goucher Broadcast Achievement Award at the 2023 Maine Association of Broadcasters Meeting and Awards Gala Oct. 14.
