Chronicle: Veteran manager Bob Bender passed away Oct. 13 following a battle with cancer. He was 67. Bender spent most of his career in tour and road management. He joined Curb in 1997, first as Mgr./Artist Development, then as Dir./Sales. He later served as GM for WestFest Records before returning to artist management. Bender launched The Business Side Of Music podcast in 2017. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Music Health Alliance here. A funeral mass will be held at Church of the Holy Rosary (192 Graylynn Drive, Nashville, TN) Dec. 7 at 11am, with interment afterward at Calvary Cemetary (1001 Lebanon Pike).
