Clayton Leaves WME:
WME/Nashville Co-Head/Music Scott Clayton has left after four years and is reportedly set to join UTA, though that company has not responded to a request for comment or confirmation of Clayton’s inbound status. “We appreciate all of Scott’s contributions to the agency over the past four years and wish him all the best,” a WME statement reads. Clayton joined as Co-Head/Nashville in 2017 (CAT 11/20/17) after 17 years with crosstown CAA and was named to his most recent post the following year. He has been in Nashville since 1994, and his client roster included Zac Brown Band, John Mayer, Dead & Company, Kings Of Leon and Train. Becky Gardenhire, Joey Lee and Jay Williams remain with WME as Co-Heads/Nashville; Los Angeles-based Kirk Sommer and London-based Lucy Dickens stay on as Co-Heads/Music.
