Desert Heat: As reported over the weekend via Twitter and Facebook, former CBS Radio Top 40 WSJT/Tampa morning host Steve Kramer and CBS Radio's KMLE/Phoenix afternoon host Nina D have been tapped to host mornings on KMLE as Steve & Nina. They replace Brad Booker, who succeeded Tim & Willy just more than a year ago (CAT 9/11/12). Reach Booker here. Concurrently, KMLE night host David Dean takes over afternoons. "The Valley has a big appetite for fun and authentic radio,” says KMLE PD Tim Richards. "That's what Steve and Nina do and that's what we are creating here at the new KMLE."
