WDAF's Kennedy To Retire Again:
Audacy/Kansas City OM & Country WDAF PD Mike Kennedy is retiring from the cluster he joined more than two years ago, effective Dec. 17. “I am returning to the non-working world,” Kennedy tells Country Aircheck. The Country Radio Hall of Fame class of 2015 inductee retired from crosstown Steel City KBEQ in 2016 after 40 years in radio and more than 25 with the station (CAT 9/28/16). He resurfaced at WDAF in Sept. 2019 (CAT 9/3/19) where he has also handled programming duties for Hot AC sister KZPT. Reach Kennedy here through Dec. 17. No word on plans for the position.
