Proof Positive:
Luke Combs and
Morgan Wallen shared Songwriter of the Year honors at last night's (11/7)
BMI Country Awards at the performing rights organization's Nashville headquarters, with each co-writing four of the year's most-performed country songs. Wallen's "You Proof," which he co-wrote with
Charlie Handsome and
Ernest K. Smith, was named Song of the Year. Warner-Tamerlane Publishing Corp., which published half of the year's 50 most-performed songs, won Publisher of the Year. As previously reported (
