Champ Stamps:
L&L Broadcasting's WUBB/Savannah, GA morning host Tim Leary raised $5,300 for Susan G. Komen by running the local Rock 'N' Roll Half Marathon as the finale of his month-long Tats For Ta-tas campaign. "At the beginning of October we asked listeners for a $10 donation and a name of someone in their life who has been affected by breast cancer," says Leary. "Last Thursday, we began to tattoo (not permanent) all the names and logos on my body. I then ran my first half marathon ever as a human billboard honoring and remembering those names." The "tattoo" process itself took more than 13 hours. "Although they're not permanent, it is real tattoo ink," he adds. "I had an artist paint these on free-hand. They'll be on me for about two more weeks!" Leary finished the 13.1 miles in two hours and 15 minutes. Reach him here.
