Sting Operation: Montreal-based music and video content distribution company Stingray Group, whose assets include 26 Canadian radio stations, is acquiring audio streaming company TuneIn Holdings in a deal valued at up to $175 million. Following the acquisition, the TuneIn platform will continue to operate under its existing brand. Stingray's portfolio includes six Country stations. TuneIn operates Garth Brooks' Sevens Radio Network, home to The Big 615 and other channels (CAT 6/15/23). Details here.
