Bird Is The Word:
Despite the healthy supply of compound bows and camo in Middle Tenneessee, Tracy Lawrence's 7th Annual Mission Impossible Turkey Fry for the Nashville Rescue Mission is experiencing a turkey shortage. Lawrence is calling for (no pun intended) 400 turkeys by Friday (11/16), though 1,000 will be required over the holidays. Birds of at least 12 pounds, preferably frozen and long-removed from their natural habitat, are being accepted at the NRM Donation Center at 616 7th Ave. S., Nashville, TN, 37203. Make online donations here; see Lawrence's explanatory video here. The Turkey Fry is scheduled for Tuesday (11/20).
