WFMS' Layfield Departs: As reported via Breaking News Saturday (11/11), Cumulus/Indianapolis OM & Country WFMS PD Christopher “Boomer” Layfield has exited after five years with the company (CAT 3/20/18). No word yet on plans for the position, which is not yet posted. Layfield arrived in 2018 with oversight for three stations, and added OM duties for three additional stations in the cluster last year (CAT 3/18/22).
