Hot Air: No one is commenting from any corner, but the launch of a rebranded After MidNite with a new host seems imminent. Signs and buzz point to a partnership between Premiere and CMT that will install Cody Alan at the helm of the long-running overnight franchise. A domain registration for CMTAfterMidNite.com currently points to Clear Channel-owned servers. After MidNite has been hosted by a succession of artists since the July 31 departure of host and show founder Blair Garner, who is now featured in mornings on Cumulus' WNSH/New York (Breaking News 7/11). Alan currently hosts CMT Radio Live, which was developed in partnership with Cumulus. That company recently announced the launch of its own Nash Nights Live with Shawn Parr as host (Breaking News 11/11). Stay tuned.
