SESAC 2025 Country Winners

Cowboy Songs: Michael Tyler was named SESAC Songwriter of the Year at last night's (11/16) 2025 Nashville Music Awards. Tyler's cuts this year included George Birge's “Cowboy Songs,” Bailey Zimmerman's “Holy Smokes" and Corey Kent's “This Heart." Additional winners included Megan Moroney's "Am I Okay?" (Song of the Year) and Warner Chappell Music (Publisher of the Year). 

The night also honored the songwriters and publishers behind the year’s 20 most-performed country and Americana songs, including Jelly Roll's "I Am Not Okay," Blake Shelton's "Texas," Tucker Wetmore's "Wind Up Missin' You" and Russell Dickerson's "Happen To Me."
