Oh, Canada: Bell Media Alternative CIMX(89X)/Windsor, ON flipped to Country as "Pure Country 89" today (11/19) at noon ET. The station is currently jockless running 10,000 songs in a row. CIMX joins Bell's "Pure Country" network of 14 stations across Canada. The flip was part of a flurry of moves today, with Bell Triple A CIDR/Windsor also flipping at noon to Top 40 as "Virgin Radio." Minutes after CIMX flipped, Entercom flipped Soft AC WDZH/Detroit to fill the Alternative void. While located in Windsor, the CIMX signal covers most of the Detroit market and becomes the fourth Country signal in the metro alongside Cumulus WDRQ, Entercom WYCD and Blackburn Radio CJWF/Windsor. Stream the station here.
