Keeping Scorely: Ashley Gorley won his 11th Country Music Songwriter of the Year honor at the 62nd ASCAP Country Music Awards last night (11/18) in downtown Nashville, extending his record as the most awarded ASCAP songwriter in the format. Chris Stapleton was named Songwriter/Artist of the Year. The Morgan Wallen-recorded "Last Night" (co-written by Gorley) won for Song of the Year, making it Gorley's fourth win in that category. Sony Music Publishing earned Publisher of the Year honors for the 11th time, scoring 24 of the year's 50 most-performed country songs, all of which were recognized during the ceremony.
