Garth Channels
We Shall Be Three: Garth Brooks' The Garth Channel re-launched today (11/20) via Sevens Radio Network on TuneIn. During a press conference this morning at his new Friends In Low Places Bar & Honky Tonk in Nashville, Brooks said that unlike the channel's SiriusXM interation (2016-2022), the new platform is free. Additionally, he noted, "[We] took a piece of the Grand Ole Opry format, in that we do sponsorships, not advertisements. 'Welcome to another commercial-free hour, brought to you by ...' Our first partner is Tractor Supply Co."
As reported last month (CAT 10/24), The Garth Channel is the network's third and will broadcast from the aforementioned venue. Veteran Toronto-area personality Blake Carter, who was previously the voice of The Garth Channel, will serve as PD/host.
Concurrently, Seven Network's other two channels, The Big 615 and Tailgate Radio, have been added to the Audacy streaming platform. The channels had exclusively been available on TuneIn since their respective launches in June (CAT 6/15) and August (CAT 8/29).
