Benefit News:
iHeartMedia WBWL/Boston afternoon personality Colton Bradford leveraged his platform via the station and his work with local NBC affiliate WBTS-TV to create and produce the Nov. 20 radio and television broadcast special One Night Only, which raised more than $51,000 to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The one-hour special aired on both stations and was simulcast on television and radio partners in Portsmouth, NH and Springfield, MA. Bradford hosted along with WBWL personalities Amanda Jo and Jess. Performances by Kelly Clarkson, Carly Pearce, Chris Young with Kane Brown, Brothers Osborne, Tenille Arts, Niko Moon, Jordan Davis, Justin Moore and Parmalee were secured by Bradford, and the special also earned a 1.1 rating, 18-49, during the 7-8pm ET time slot. This was the second annual event, following last year’s One Night Only, which brought in more than $38,000 for St. Jude (CAT 11/23/20).
