Rating To Exhale:
Last night's (11/24) 2019 American Music Awards on ABC-TV came in third in its 8pm ET time slot with a 1.7/8 rating/share among adults 18-49 and 6.73 million total viewers according to Zap2It.com. The performance was down from last year's 1.8 rating and set a new record low in the demo but did show a 2% increase in viewers from last year's 6.585 million. NBC's SNF Pregame and Sunday Night Football won the slot handily with a 4.6/19 (16.44 million) in the 8pm hour and a 4.8/21 (17.33 million) beginning with the 8:15pm kickoff. FOX-TV's The Simpsons pulled a 1.8/8 (5.45 million) to claim the second position.
