Mediabase's Gelb To Retire: Mediabase Dir./Label Sales & Marketing Jeff Gelb will retire Dec. 31 after more than 18 years with the company and 50 in the industry. He joined Mediabase in 2002 following 24 years with Radio & Records and a long tenured radio career including stops in Cleveland and San Diego. “Capping my career at Mediabase is an honor,” says Gelb. “I work with a family of people who genuinely care about this industry and music.
