I Did It Highway:
Stoney Creek's Jimmie Allen, singer/songwriter/producer Aaron Benward and former Spotify Global Head/Country Programming John Marks have launched Nashville-based management and production company JAB Entertainment. The company's flagship artist is Neon Union (Leo Brooks and Andrew Millsaps). Their first single, “Beer Up," will be released Dec. 30 through a distribution deal with Empire, and they can be heard on “Livin’ Man” off Allen’s latest album, Bettie James Gold Edition. “It wasn't long ago that Jimmie and Aaron invited me to see their new duo Neon Union in Nashville," says Marks. "I watched their set, saw their onstage chemistry and knew I needed to be a part of this history making duo." Adds Allen, “Not only are they the first Black and white duo in country music history, they are insanely talented with great work ethic. Not only do they make great music, but they will change hearts.” Connect with the duo on Instagram, TikTok and here. Reach Benward here and Marks here.
