Lynn Departing KIZN: Cumulus KIZN/Boise APD/MD/morning host Alana Lynn is departing radio Dec. 6 to focus on her other job, Dir./Marketing and Communications for the Morrison Center for the Performing Arts. Lynn joined KIZN for middays in 2019 (CAT 4/19/19), added APD/MD stripes and moved to mornings later that year (CAT 9/27/19). She is a second generation broadcaster, the daughter of industry vet Tony Lynn. Her priors include KMLE/Phoenix; KAWO/Boise; KUAD/Ft. Collins, CO; KUPL/Portland and KBQI/Albuquerque. She shared on Facebook, "To say radio has been a part of my life is an understatement, and at times, it’s been my whole life. For 25 years, I’ve had the opportunity to wake up every morning and walk into a job I love."
