WAYZ's Anderson Retires:
Verstandig's WAYZ/Hagerstown, MD midday personality Tori Anderson will step down after 17 years due to a long battle with Scleroderma. Anderson's annual "Walk With Tori" has raised nearly $100,000 for Scleroderma research. "Tori leaves behind a legacy that will forever remain in our listeners' (and her fellow staff members') hearts," says MD/morning host Dan Michaels. "Her unwavering faith and love has sustained her far beyond anyone's expectations. She is the definition of inspiration." Reach Anderson here. Michaels says news of her replacement will be forthcoming.
