Alan To Leave After MidNite: No official word from Premiere or iHeartMedia, but nationally syndicated CMT After MidNite host Cody Alan shares today via Instagram, “I’ll be hosting my last After MidNite show for iHeartRadio on New Year’s Eve – excited to bring you something new in 2022!” Alan joined CMT Radio Network in partnership with Westwood One for CMT Radio Live With Cody Alan in 2008 (CAT 11/10/08) following time with KEGA/Salt Lake City and KPLX/Dallas. The programming segued to then-Clear Channel and Premiere in 2013 as Alan took over for Blair Garner at After MidNite in Jan. 2014 (CAT 11/26/13). Alan has since continued to host CMT Radio Live and CMT-TV's Hot 20 Countdown. No word on syndicated night show programming for iHeart or next steps for Alan and the staff at CMT Radio, who just took home their first CMA Award for Daily National Personality of the Year (CAT 10/15).
