Wayne's World: ADT EVP/Chief Business Officer Wayne Thorsen has been named to the newly created position of EVP/COO for SiriusXM. He will oversee the company's commercial activities, business development and distribution arrangements. Thorsen's previous stops include Google, SoFi and Viacom.

Additionally, the company has "refined its strategic focus" toward the automotive subscriber segment and will "shift marketing and other resources away from high-cost, high-churn audiences in streaming."
