Castle Call: No official word, but former WKLB/Boston evening host Renée Castle (CAT 10/23/17) has joined Cumulus WGKX/Memphis for mornings alongside incumbent Andrew “Latty” Latimer. “So thrilled to announce that I’ve joined a heritage station on the brink of celebrating its 40th year on the air playing the best country music,” shares Castle via Facebook. Latimer joined in May (CAT 5/19) filling a post left vacant by the departure of Duane Shannon and Abby Summers (CAT 2/8). Castle’s prior experience includes acting and producing roles for Hell’s Kitchen, Blind Date and other reality television shows, plus radio stops at Westwood One, WKDF/Nashville and Top 40 WJXA/Nashville.
