Cumulus Launches Dallas Classic Country Station
cumulus25.png Choosin' Texas: Cumulus has launched Classic Country WBAP-HD2/Dallas as "Country Legends & Texas Classics 93.3 HD2," featuring hits from the '70s and '80s. The station debuted at noon today (12/15) with George Strait's "Does Fort Worth Ever Cross Your Mind," and will feature core artists Strait, Willie Nelson, Alabama, Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Randy Travis, Alan Jackson and Reba McEntire. Cumulus operates Country KPLX & KSCS in the market, where Regional VP Dan Bennett says, "We are doubling down on our long-term commitment to country music [creating] a wall of country for our station group and for the passionate country music lovers in the DFW area.”
