DeYoung Departing Mornings: As reported earlier via Breaking News, iHeartMedia WPOC/Baltimore morning host and Country Radio Hall of Famer Laurie DeYoung announced Dec. 21 will be her final daily show on the station. "Starting in February I'll do a short weekend show," she commented on her Facebook page, "I'll also be at some station events here and there possibly." DeYoung joined WPOC in 1985 following stops in Grand Rapids and San Diego, and became the first female to lead a major market Country morning show in 1988. She is a two-time CMA Personality of the Year (1994 and 2014) and became the third woman to be inducted into the Country Radio Hall of Fame in 2010. Reach her here.
