Turn It Up. Right On:
Three months after flipping WXNX/Fort Myers, FL from Rock to Country as "Trump Country 93.7" (CAT 9/16/20), Sun Broadcasting has changed the station's call letters from WXNX to WHEL and re-branded as "Hell Yeah! 93.7." The station remains jockless and its current-based music mix has held through, though there are still sweepers referring to the station as "Trump Country." In the most recent Nielsen Audio CDM ratings (CAT 12/8/20) WXNX was up 1.7 to 2.1 (10) while iHeartMedia's WCKT had a 2.6 (8). Renda's WWGR has not subscribed since August (CAT 9/10/20) when it had a 6.2 (2). No offical word from Cluster Dir./Programming John Rozz on programming or staffing for WHEL.
