The Academy of Country Music will again host musical performances at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo Dec. 6-15 in Las Vegas. The Rodeo Live Stage will feature shows from David Nail, Aaron Watson, Chris Janson, Ryan Beaver, Chris Young, Sarah Darling, Bucky Covington, Jack Ingram and Brett Eldredge. The performances are part of the innaugural Cowboy Fanfest, an interactive area highlighting various aspects of the Western lifestyle at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Capitol's Luke Bryan will sing the national anthem and Kellie Pickler will sing "God Bless America" during the seventh inning stretch at Major League Baseball's All-Star Game Tuesday in Kansas City (7/10). As previously reported, the Zac Brown Band will perform at the previous night's Home Run Derby. David Nail will play in Sunday's All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game (7/8), which will be televised the following night (7/9) on ESPN-TV, following the derby. The All-Star Game itself airs on FOX-TV.

Someone Like YouTube:
A music video of David Nail covering Adele's "Someone Like You" will be featured on the VEVO homepage all day Monday (6/18). The piece will also be cycling through playlists on the entire country roster on YouTube. "We did the video just for friends who'd heard me sing the song backstage and wanted to have access to it," Nail says. "It brings so many things out of you as a vocalist, so I wanted to make sure the visuals lived up to it, but I never thought anyone would pay attention to it. I certainly didn't expect it to turn into something like this." After MidNite With Blair Garner played the performance via a YouTube feed this week. Watch the clip here.

Performers include Kellie Pickler, American Idol runner-up Lauren Alaina, Randy Houser, The Voice contestant Gwen Sebastian, Love And Theft, Kip Moore, Country Music Hall of Fame member Bill Anderson and Steel Magnolia.
