A Stream Is Like A River:
Pearl's Garth Brooks has partnered with Amazon to make his music available for streaming via the new Music Unlimited service, which launched a week ago (CAT 10/12). "It is a joy to work with a company that is all about the customer when it comes to service, and all about the music and its creators when it comes to the music," says Brooks. The agreement also gives Amazon the exclusive ability to sell Brooks' music, a role previously held by his own two-year-old GhostTunes service (CAT 9/4/14), which will no longer carry Brooks' music after fulfilling obligations through the end of the year, but may continue as a service for other artists.
