Bones Show Signs On 35: At a Clear Channel event introducing The Bobby Bones Show in Nashville, the company revealed that next week's national launch will extend to 35 stations. New stations include WFUS/Tampa; KWNR/Las Vegas; KBQI/Albuquerque; KHEY/El Paso; KTOM/Monterey; WMAD/Madison; KSWF/Springfield, MO; WSTH/Columbus, GA; KMFX/Rochester, MN; WAVW/Ft. Pierce, FL; and WCKY/Findlay, OH. Some stations are still being notified of the change and that information will presumably be made available later. The show is anchored at WSIX/Nashville. Previously announced stations include KNST/Tucson; KASE/Austin; KSD/St. Louis; KTGX/Tulsa; KYKR/Beaumont; WCKT/Ft. Myers; WOBB/Albany, GA and WTXT/Tuscaloosa, AL.
Brad Paisley opened the event via video and will be the first artist guest with Monday's national launch (2/25). Clear Channel executives in attendance included EVP/Programming Clay Hunnicutt and SVPs/Programming John Ivey and Rod Phillips. The Country Music Hall of Fame's Ford Theater also featured a who's-who of label executives. Artists in attendance included Jake Owen, Joe Nichols, Jana Kramer, Parmalee, Gloriana, Craig Campbell, Josh Thompson, Dustin Lynch, Brett Eldredge, Eric Paslay, Jon Pardi, Charlie Worsham, Kristen Kelly, Chris Janson, Greg Bates, The Farm and Joel Crouse. Bones expressed his desire to "bring a fun culture shock to Country radio." Clear Channel and Premiere announced plans for the show earlier this month (Breaking News 2/4).
