American Made:
As reported earlier via Breaking News, Cumulus will add America's Morning Show with Blair Garner to a total of 19 new Nash-branded stations Monday (2/10). Co-COO John Dickey says the show will also be available to WestwoodOne affiliates nationwide in the spring.
Details on staff changes related to this week's show additions previously reported by Country Aircheck can be found here and here. Additionally, AMS will replace Hillary & Fox In The Morning on KRMD/Shreveport, LA. They move to afternoons, replacing James Anthony as he moves to middays, which have been vacant. At KQFC/Boise, ID, AMS replaces 10-year morning host Cory Mikhals, who moves to sister KIZN. Exiting KIZN after more than 15 years are the husband/wife morning team Kevin and Brenda Mee who can be reached here. Send news of AMS-related staff changes in your market here. The AMS rollout also means direct competition between Garner (Cumulus) and Bobby Bones (Premiere/Clear Channel) in Nashville and New Orleans.
