Doin' The Charleston: Longtime Blakeney/Laurel, MS OM/PD/MD and group Classic Rock WXRR morning host Andy Webb will join Apex's WCKN/Charleston, SC for mornings Monday (1/12). And though no one is commenting officially, Country Aircheck hears that former Cumulus WIWF (Nash FM)/Charleston morning personality Jessica Chandler will soon join him as co-host. The daypart was formerly handled by Dale Desmond, who recently joined Cherry Creek/Helena, MT (CAW 12/30). Webb spent 12 years at the four-station Blakeney cluster, where he also programmed Country WBBN. Reach him here. Chandler was displaced in WIWF mornings with last February's addition of Cumulus' America's Morning Show (CAT 2/5).
