Gettin' Giggy Wit' It:
iHeartMedia Top 40 WNOH/Norfolk afternoon personality Alabama and Top 40 sister WKSC/Chicago evening personality Erik Zachary have joined the company's recently launched WNUA/Chicago (Breaking News 1/5) in the same roles. Concurrently, the WNUA call letters have been changed to WEBG. "Alabama is incredibly talented and fiercely competitive," 'EBG PD Steve Stewart says. "She not only does a great show, but is also nonstop in the community. Alabama will be seen all over Chicago. Erik is one of the most energetic air talents in Chicago and we're lucky to have him on the team. He has a huge social media presence and a love for country music." Alabama's background includes stops in Detroit, Lansing and Fresno. She's from Birmingham. Zachary got his start as a programming intern within the cluster in 2011. Read more on what's ahead for the new station and its battle with CBS Radio's WUSN in last night's (1/12) Country Aircheck Weekly.
