Back Flipped: CBS Radio WLIF-HD2/Baltimore will no longer have a terrestrial presence as Radio One takes over the lease of translator W291BA and will feed one of its full-power Gospel stations to it as "Praise 106.1." CBS Radio launched the Country station a year and a half ago (CAT 10/24/13), covering the city's urban core with 250 watts of power at 896 feet. Morning host Dave Hovel will reportedly remain in a yet-to-be-determined capacity. Middayer Fast Jimi and afternoon personality Steve Mann remain in their pre-existing gigs within the cluster. No word on whether the station will continue on the HD2 channel.
